This is part of a trip we took exploring street art in Victoria (mostly) in 2024. Like the rest of this blog, other days will be updated one day – maybe – hopefully – don’t hold your breath.
Here are some curated highlights of the past 2 days exploring Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula looking at street art.
Today we went back to the Wall-to-Wall festival at Mordialloc to see how the new murals were progressing. So fun to see the artists at work – here are some before and after photos. Some of the murals are not complete – we will need another visit! Note the last photo – a work in progress on an abandoned ice-cream truck by Jason Parker. The painting is of an elderly couple from the local area – and we realised we randomly happened to meet them on the bus on the way to the festival on Friday and had a lovely chat. If only we knew they were celebrities!
